Luxor manufactures a variety of wood products. Luxor's lead product is IBS, its patented floor performance product stiffens soft and bouncy floors making them more acceptable to the homeowner. Installing a row of IBS between lumber or I-joists is like building a beam under the floor. IBS structurally connects the joists enabling the floor to act as a system with unparalleled scale of the gain in stiffness and rigidity. The structurally connected joist system is able to transfer impact point loads such as those generated by foot traffic to as many as thirteen joists. The stiffness gained from using a row of IBS in a floor system allows builders to use less material and labour resulting in substantial cost savings.

Luxor developed Floor Navigator, a software tool to complement IBS. Luxor has spent many years analyzing wood-frame floor construction and has established itself as a leading authority in wood floor performance engineering in North America. The Floor Navigator measures the scale of the gain of floor acceptability across the full spectrum of materials, spacing, subfloor and intermediate devices. The Floor Navigator enables our distribution channels to build a clear picture of what a good/better/best floor is for their customers.
